Darn good Balthazar burger.

Friends were in town from San Francisco. We gathered at “the barn” in Amagansett and pulled together a simple dinner that was perfect for September cool weather. 

Of special note was the cinnamon, coffee cake sliced in three layers. Top each layer with ice-cream of choice - ours was coffee and dulce de leche. Reassemble ice-cream layers and freeze. Before serving pour the Italian liquor Tuaca over cake. We served with peaches and blueberries but any fresh fruit will work.
